Edward Ellis, Energy and Manufacturing specialist, explains why he chose to join Berwick Partners earlier this year.
What attracted you to a career with Berwick Partners?
I was at a cross roads in my career and was looking to take a permanent move into an established and reputable search firm. Berwick Partners offered me that opportunity.
What appealed / caught your attention whilst going through the interview process?
The maturity and calibre of individuals that I met was a real step up. It gave me a solid understanding to what the culture and working environment would be like.
What has been the most surprising thing that you hadn’t expected when you arrived?
The senior support from the Partners and Principals was a pleasant surprise. It was clearly genuine and very thorough.
How is it different from your previous place of employment?
The autonomy to get on a do your job and be far more efficient and thus effective.
Three words to describe the culture?
Supportive, credible and client focussed.
