Group IT Transformation Manager , c.£90,000 & benefits Yorkshire / London

IT touches every part of value chain, enabling efficient and effective business operations in a multi-divisional, internationally distributed ‘farm to factory’ value chain. Reporting to the Group Head of Technology, this new role will play a critical role in setting a new standard for IT service delivery, as well as supporting and shaping the execution of IT enabled business transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly commercial IT & digital leader to join the IT leadership team of a successful B2B consumer firm, delivering competitive advantage through high quality, globally aligned technology services.

The Role:

• Provide strong IT leadership across the full technology landscape, supporting the Group Head of Technology, reshaping the performance and commercial contribution from IT globally.
• As a business facing senior manager, provide transformational leadership to all aspects of IT operations, proactively identifying opportunities to standardise, simplify and improve, embracing best practice frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Shape and deliver significant systems & process change within the Group Technology function, cascading this across the organisation, creating a culture of continuous business aligned performance improvement.

The Candidate

• A proven transformational IT leader and digital subject-matter with a passion for driving improvement across all aspects of IT operations, service delivery, architecture and PMO.
• An outstanding communicator and IT change delivery leader, able to manage internal and external stakeholders, in delivering whilst taking a wider strategic view and producing coherent advice.
• Strong influencing skills, cross functional collaboration, and knowledge sharing will ensure strong business sponsorship, as well as meaningful ROI from technology investment at every level. Energy, drive and the ability to bring the team to new ways of working are essential attributes for success.
