Managing Director
Midlands, £Excellent plus package

Our client is an international organisation with specialist subsidiaries delivering a range of products and services for infrastructure related markets. To accelerate growth, they now require a Managing Director for one of their business units. Generating over £10m, the Company offers a range of manufactured and custom-built solutions.

The role reports directly to the Group MD for the division and will:

  • Identify, develop, direct and deliver the strategy for the business, with full P&L responsibility.

  • Develop a strong leadership team and organisation.

  • Grow the business in its current markets, while extending its reach into emerging markets and identifying new opportunities.

  • Plan and direct the activities of the company to delight the customer.

  • Develop and ensure that the business has high quality, efficient manufacturing processes.

  • Foster and maintain an entrepreneurial and creative environment.

  • Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and integrity.
The Candidate

Highly driven and results-led, the successful candidate will be educated, agile, ambitious and capable of developing further within the Organisation in time. You will enjoy being hands-on, building on an excellent foundation within the existing team and product portfolio. It is vital you can retain the entrepreneurial feel of the business whilst creating greater structure and systems to enable growth.  

The Managing Director will need to demonstrate they understand a highly engineered product solution, with previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You are likely to be Degree qualified and have run a business of a similar size, or able to demonstrate you are ready to do so.

An excellent base salary, car, bonus and benefits is on offer.

You will be resident in the Midlands or prepared to relocate to the region.
