The Role

The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for managing through all relevant channels, the master-branding of the Group. You will be focussed on building brand recognition against key areas of capability, including sustainability, innovation, customer-centricity and the broader ESG agenda. Specific emphasis in relation to channels will be on developing web presence; in particular, enhancing Social Media messaging, followers and conversations with customers, suppliers, employees and other relevant stakeholders. You will:

  • Promote Vita’s brand across all key communication channels (websites, social media, industry magazines, news, exhibitions etc.).
  • Lead and develop the central marketing team to effectively deliver the marketing agenda.
  • Develop marketing strategies for key “master-branding” messages and execute them through integrated campaign plans.
  • Partner with PR agencies to identify the right messages and communication channels, building and managing integrated campaign plans that pull together the various Group marketing activities.
  • Improve key stakeholders’ perceptions by managing marketing projects (these could include, for example, the development of new websites, new branding materials, environment social governance (ESG) messaging, managing voice of customer activities).
  • Support internal communication activities.  

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to achieve results through influence and be able to operate with a high degree of EQ and structure. You will have a depth of B2B marketing experience in a manufacturing environment and be used to working across international territories. You will be particularly adept at building social media activity alongside other channels to market.

Well educated, you will have successfully led branding initiatives and be used to commercially influencing in a decentralised business model. A second European language would be an advantage.

The Group Marketing Manager will be based in the Manchester Head Office, with some international travel expected. A competitive base salary, car allowance, bonus and benefits are on offer.
