This exciting Group IT Manager opportunity will see an engaging, commercially pragmatic and innovative IT leader, shape, lead and deliver an ambitious IT improvement vision. This new role will support the Executive Leadership team in driving improvement, integration and growth to this international green energy business. The Group IT Manager will bring a proven pedigree of successful hands-on IT leadership across the full lifecycle of business engagement and analysis, project & programme delivery and operational management.

This business is the market leader in the production and supply of sustainable biodiesel. It has a reputation for strong performance, ambitious growth, and is undertaking substantial investment in IT enabled business transformation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT leader to create commercial advantage through the delivery of high quality, mission critical, business systems and process control systems.

The Role:

Provide strong, commercially aligned and well governed IT leadership to this highly distributed, international, fuel production and supply business. Deliver a clear programme of commercially aligned information systems, service and process improvement

As a senior manager within the organisation, take ownership and accountability for full lifecycle IT delivery, IT enabled business change and improvement. The delivery of resilient, reliable process control systems and core business solutions improvement is critical to operational success.

With end to end accountability for IT solutions and services you will proactively seek out new opportunities to deliver business advantage through IT systems and business process improvement.

The Person:

A well-rounded business facing IT leader you will define and deliver the IT strategy, shaping a team of direct and partner resources to execute projects and resilient operations & service.

A clear and pragmatic thinker able to align IT investments and ROI to commercial priorities will ensure strong business sponsorship. Energy, drive and a hands-on approach are essential attributes for success.

Robust experience of leading IT and industrial process control systems improvement in a multi‐site, multi-national, growth business is essential. Systems implementation, project management, process mapping and relationship management skills are critical to success in this role.
