Digital Product Manager
Tilney Group
Location: Liverpool/Remote
Salary: up to £150k

Tilney is an award-winning provider of financial planning, investment management and advisory services to UK private clients and charities. Tilney are looking to adopt a technology-first, personalised approach to investment and financial services, through our development of a suite of technical tools and products.

We are currently undertaking a full digital transformation which will enable us to provide innovative, flexible and responsive products to our customers. We are now looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager with a technical and user-centric approach, to further propel our technology first agenda, whilst developing and growing the Product function internally.

The new Digital Product Manager will have a proven track record bringing complex digital products/platforms to market, using a lean and MVP approach, as well as a desire to use modern methods and design to bring the best product experience to the users/clients.

The Role
  •  The Digital Product Manager will work as part of a wider cross-domain team to set the product direction.
  • Deliver impactful experiences for all our users and clients.
  •  Design, shape and implement new strategies to further grow Tilney Group’s digital product offering.

The Candidate

This person will have a user-centric approach to product development, to identify opportunities and solve end-user problems. They will be comfortable both collaborating/communicating with the marketing, digital and engineering teams, as well as working on their own.

As the Tilney product function grows, this person will also be required to develop the function and manage its future team members.

  •  Strategic experience in the product management of a digital product or platform (ideally within Financial Services), and familiarity with agile, lean-style practices which focus upon an MVP approach to product management.
  • The ability to manage complex roadmaps and work with senior stakeholders, including experience with tools such as Aha and ProductPlan (and the confidence to experiment with new tools/methods) to develop user-centric products.
  • A clear understanding of how user research fits in to the process, an eye for design and experience of user testing and competitor reviews.
