The Company

Hallite, part of the multi-billion global corporation Michelin, are a market leader in hydraulic and pneumatic sealing solutions. A thought leader in their sector, the company manufactures premium products for the aerospace, energy, off-highway and mining sectors. 

Hallite operate from three manufacturing sites in the UK, China and the USA and have a wide network of technical knowledge centres and integrated distributors around the world. Global revenue is c. £60m with excellent margins from both standardised and bespoke product applications.

The Role

Hallite have remodelled their operational requirements and are now seeking a supply chain lead with the gravitas to influence their global team. This will be a hands-on role which will require the individual to ensure the supply chain is best in class and fit for purpose. The key requirements are to:

  • Drive and develop the Group’s Supply Chain and Inventory strategy to ensure parts availability whilst improving quality, cost, customer service and lead times.
  • Enhance, streamline and improve inventory efficiencies of inter-company trading and stock.
  • Oversee the maintenance, use and continual improvement of the Infor M3 system.
  • Provide supply chain vision, direction and leadership, owning performance across sourcing, purchasing, planning, warehousing, transport and distribution.

The Candidate

The Group Head of Supply Chain will be a strong influencer, with excellent stock modelling and automated material handling systems knowledge. This is likely to have been derived from a fast paced, international supply chain setting where OTIF is critical.

You will need to have the credibility and confidence to operate at a senior level and be able to understand different international cultures. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, in addition to detailed ERP systems knowledge.   

You will have a collaborative and communicative personal style with the ability to build and develop excellent relationships. Self-confident and commercial with a high level of analytical capability, you will be able to drive positive change at a senior level.

Additional Details

The Group Head of Supply Chain will be based from Hallite’s Head Office in Hampton, Middlesex, with frequent international travel required (c. 30%).
