Chief Digital Transformation Officer , The Kennel Club, London, c.£100,000 & benefits

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this opportunity is at the forefront of driving IT and Digital enabled transformation across all aspects of the Kennel Club activities. The Chief Digital Transformation Officer will own, lead and deliver the digital delivery strategy, maximising value from digital and data assets, ensuring the successful adoption of improved digital ways of working and new customer centric services.

The Kennel Club is the UK’s leading canine authority, dedicated to promoting responsible dog breeding, welfare and ownership. It is our role to ensure standards are not just maintained but constantly improved, so that each generation of dog can be healthier and happier than the last. 

The Role:

• Shape, lead and deliver the implementation of an overarching vision for the specialist IT, digital systems and data custody teams in support of the Kennel Club strategy.
• Provide strong business facing digital delivery experience. Own the delivery and ongoing evolution of IT enabled digital transformation; optimising the exploitation of digital channels, and facilitating data led decision making across all aspects of the Club’s activities.
• Operate as a trusted partner and senior influencer, building coalitions for change to ensure  effective digital adoption, supporting enhanced operational performance, stakeholder  engagement and customer value.

The Candidate

• A proven transformational IT and digital leader with a passion for driving customer value from technology, digital and data assets & investments.
• An exceptional communicator and accountable  leader able to engage both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver upon shared outcomes, balancing the strategic vision with the specific needs of each stakeholder community.
• Energetic and impactful, the CDTO will be an accomplished senior leader with a proven track record of driving successful IT enabled digital transformation. You will also bring robust experience of leading functional IT, data & digital delivery teams through change and into continuously improved operational performance.
