This is an exciting IT & Digital Project Portfolio leadership role, at the heart of an innovative science-led, and data-driven NGO. Podium Analytics is embracing innovation and technology to deliver its mission of significantly reducing the incidence and long-term impact of injury in youth sport, ensuring that more people can participate in sport for a lifetime.

Working with the CTO, and in partnership with world class research partners and global sports bodies, the Project Portfolio Manager will drive exceptional project and portfolio delivery to support the growth and scaling of this innovative organisation.

The Role:

•   As part of the technology delivery function, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing and leading a portfolio of digital rich, i.e. not only data analytics, app and platform development, and security projects. You will play a key role working with the leadership team, and external stakeholders, to understand, manage and prioritise project delivery.
•   Provide critical oversight of all projects ensuring close alignment of portfolio deliverables to business objectives. Take a direct role in project delivery, and in time pro-actively manage, coach and develop project managers, and delivery partners to ensure successful project execution.
•   Establish, evolve and maintain strong project and programme delivery controls and governance ensuring coherent and consistent delivery across a digitally rich portfolio. Ensure effective business stakeholder engagement and communications for all projects.

The Person:

•   A proven pedigree working across the full technology project lifecycle. Ideally you will bring experience gained in data-rich, cloud-first, low code environments, and have been material to successful and rigorous project delivery.
•   A commercially astute project portfolio delivery leader with advanced influencing and interpersonal skills, you will seek to drive pragmatic structure, governance and controls into the delivery of a growing portfolio of digital delivery involving both commercial and academic research partners. 
•   Energetic, focussed and value-oriented, you will be an enthusiastic, credible and hands-on leader able to build & lead effective delivery teams. You will bring a relentless focus upon successful delivery and continuous improvement.
