We are the children’s charity in the UK with the largest number of services on the ground and the largest retail footprint: we run over 960 projects, have over 500 shops, over 8,000 staff and 20,000 volunteers and an annual turnover of over £310m.
With significant challenges and in a context of growth, we have a strategic plan to 2025, supported by our programme of change and transformation. This builds on our capability and efficiencies in directing our efforts locally and nationally to help the UK’s most vulnerable children and their families. Alongside the development of our strategic and operational capacity we have some vacancies on our Board as existing trustees come to the end of their tenure.
We are now seeking four trustees with skills and experience in one or a combination of the following:
1. A qualified finance professional
2. Charitable income generation and fundraising experience as a volunteer or partner, particularly with corporate organization and/or philanthropy
3. Experience in retail operations.
Additionally, applications would be welcome from candidates from all ages.
