The Department of Design and Engineering is located within the School of Creative Arts and Engineering. It is a new entity, comprising of a diverse yet complementary range of disciplines that have strong links with the regional economic strategy and business more generally. Its engineering provision places human creativity at its heart, thereby preparing students for Industry 4.0. Working in close proximity with Design, it has incredible facilities which effectively allow Staffordshire University to re-engineer engineering.

This post represents an exciting opening for an experienced academic manager to bring their creative practice/industry and research experience to inform work across the broad range of disciplines in the Department. Candidates will need to demonstrate a clear vision for academic excellence, industry relevance and enthusiasm for collaboration across a connected curriculum.
