Head of Consultancy
Dr Foster Intelligence
Salary: Competitive
Location: Flexible; deally Nottingham or London

The Organisation

Dr Foster, part of Telstra Health, has one of the strongest and most trusted brands in the health sector. Founded in 1999 Dr Foster is a UK-based healthcare technology and business intelligence provider whose solutions equip healthcare organisations to make better and faster decisions.

They do this by working with their clients to develop easy to use and role-relevant solutions that deliver actionable insights that drive decisions on the quality and value of connected healthcare.

Their starting point is data and they bring this data to life – turning figures into actionable insights. These insights are vital in tackling the challenges facing the healthcare sector. They enable clinicians to make better, faster decisions, ensuring patients have access to the right treatment when they need it.

If healthcare services are to be truly integrated, it is essential that data is connected across both health and social care. With this interoperability at the heart of Dr Foster’s services, they can work towards improving the health of the population by identifying conditions that require greater intervention in the community, improving quality and patient outcomes, and thereby reducing cost and efficiency pressures on acute hospital services.

By using data to its full potential, they can maximise clinical acumen and shape the way healthcare is delivered to each and every patient.

They connect a multitude of data and develop new technologies, models and algorithms to better inform health and care organisations’ decision making. Their solutions to meet the evolving health and care challenges are in three key areas:

• Population Health Management

• Cost and Efficiency

• Quality and Outcomes Measurement
