The third largest provider of specialist Services in the NHS, MFT is a forward thinking academic science centre at the heart of Health Innovation and to replicate our status, we’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our Group as our Director of Corporate Resilience to deliver our key corporate aims essential to support the achievement of sustainable patient services across our organisaiton.

It goes without saying that this role will be imperative in providing resilience and support to our operationally dynamic Hospitals to aid them in maintaining a strong platform for consistent delivery of all our operational performance targets – an opportunity not for the faint hearted but one that will offer great job satisfaction by putting our patients at the heart of all you do. What’s more, you’ll act independently, taking considered and at times, significant decisions to ensure the successful operational delivery for the Trust whilst positively driving change and improvement.

A critical thinker with the commitment to deliver results and the ability to inspire colleagues, you’ll also support the Hospitals to meet all national and local objectives, calling upon the resilience/transformational and performance team resources when necessary. Naturally, you’ll possess impressive communication and negotiation skills with the knack to build excellent relationships with internally and externally; and in particular with Clinicians to ensure that professional workforce has an opportunity to influence the leadership teams on all matters of planning and development of services within MFT.

Tenacious, ambitious and highly experienced in the strategic development of clinical services within a hospital or across a health economy, you’ll be eager for this new challenge.
