The Role

This exciting newly defined role offers a unique opportunity to work as an integral part of a greenfield team – building something ‘from the ground up’. The successful candidate will be part of a new and growing global IT function for Trinseo.

This role has a dual function - IT financial management as well as IT services demand management. As part of the IT PMO, this role ensures that budget and financial spend is aligned, processes are followed for IT expense and capital recognition and IT needs and demands are anticipated and managed. It will provide overall management support for inter-related projects within the IT portfolio area, managing highly complex work streams and working with the business to define the goals and objectives for each project

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related field (advanced degree preferred).

• 6 – 10+ years of financial management of IT-related projects. Experience in building and managing governance around IT processes and projects.

• Technical & Service Project Management background.

• Strong financial management skills including advanced usage and knowledge of Excel. Understanding of CapEx and OpEx concepts; budgeting, forecasting and analysis are required.
