The Role

The MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) Sourcing Manager will be a member of the MROCE procurement team, with the key responsibility to partner with global and local functional leadership to establish category specific strategies and drive the supplier identification, negotiations and contracting necessary to meet the desired requirements at the best possible economics.

Key areas of focus for this position include Labor Services, Rotating & Static Equipment, PVF (Pipe, Valves, Fittings), PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), Instrumentation as well as the EPC sourcing and contracting for small/midsize capital projects. He / She will manage the relations with the established vendors across all these categories.

Run the Business:

• Establish strong working relationships with functional stakeholders and jointly define and implement 3-5 year category strategies that support the needs of the function.

• Lead negotiations and ensure cross functional support/approvals of agreed to commercial terms; drive successful implementation of new agreements.

• Depending on assigned portfolio, total annual spend of rough estimate ~$20-25 MM over 200 vendors will be directly under the influence of the individual. Assigned portfolio might include local, regional and global responsibilities.

Change/Improve the Business:

• Lead, co-lead or participate in Sourcing Councils; be responsible for collecting and sharing market intelligence in the respective areas with functional partners to proactively identify new opportunities for service or cost savings.

• Challenge existing concepts, specifications and cost budgets introducing new sourcing solutions, change agent at business level.

• Lead the execution of sourcing projects against identified opportunities and subsequent development for new suppliers.

The Person

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Engineering, Business Mgt, Finance, or relevant area of study)

• 5-10 years of experience in procurement related roles

• Training in procurement approaches / strategies

• Demonstrated ability to handle diverse portfolio of projects across multiple spend and geographical areas and work under pressure with competing priorities

• Spoken and written fluency in English is mandatory.

• Knowledge of SAP is desired, but not required
