Reddie & Grose is an internationally renowned European Intellectual Property law specialist, established for over 100 years. The firm employs over 60 patent and trademark specialists in London and Cambridge, offering services to a wide range of industries – with particular strengths in electronics and software, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering and biotechnology. The firm is currently going through a period of change. The constitution of the management committee is changing, which coincides with the retirement of the current accounts manager who has served 20 years of employment.

A commercial and strategic Finance Director is being recruited to help the firm progress to the next stage of its development. The Finance Director will be responsible for all financial aspects of the business. You will assist the management committee and partners to drive the firm’s financial strategy and planning.

A key requirement of this newly created role will be conducting an evaluation of the current finance team and assessing where new policies and processes may improve efficiencies. The Finance Director will be a qualified specialist responsible for actively seeking opportunities to partner with and assist the business and demonstrate where finance can add value. The post holder will develop the role of the Finance Director and make a significant impact on how Finance is perceived.

The role will suit a strong finance leader looking for a fresh challenge. You will have a collaborative nature and the ability to manage different relationships and influence where required. You will have strong communication skills and will have experience of supporting and developing teams, with sound business acumen.
