• Providing full lifecycle management
• Problem diagnosis & failure analysis
• Writing of test requests & technical reports.
You will have a high grade degree (2:1 minimum) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or allied discipline, and post graduate experience in a challenging electronics engineering environment.
The position will require advanced knowledge of PCB layout techniques (preferably OrCAD/Allegro or similar) and also advanced knowledge of electronic hardware design (analogue & digital).
You will have excellent knowledge of electronic system engineering first principles and demonstrable experience in innovating solutions; coupled with excellent fault finding/diagnostic skills and experience in analysing and understanding complex data.
It will be highly desirable if you have experience of working with high voltage (1kV) and high power electrical drive systems (100kW+). The intellect to be versatile and ambition to innovate will be critical.
