Clinical Director
St Barnabas Hospices

St Barnabas Hospices is a charity encompassing an adult hospice, St Barnabas House in Worthing, and the children’s hospice for Sussex, Chestnut Tree House. With an annual turnover of around £16m, 400 staff and 2,000 volunteers, we are one of the largest and most successful regional charities in the South of England.

We have created a new role of Clinical Director to boost our own in house critical mass of clinical/medical competency and offer leadership and direct support for the Director of Adult Nursing and the Director of Children's Services.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, high profile hospice with an opportunity to use your leadership and clinical skills at a senior level to influence the delivery of high quality end of life and life-limiting care in a rapidly changing context.

We require someone who is passionate about clinical leadership, visionary and forward thinking in their view of hospice care and a real strategic thinker. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge the status quo in a positive manner are essential to work effectively across the Hospices’ diverse environment.
