Matt Cockbill, Partner, and Head of the Technology and EMI Practices for Berwick Partners. He specialises in recruiting IT leadership and technology delivery roles. Based in the Midlands Matt has a national remit, and is also member of the Odgers Berndtson global CIO / CTO Practice.

With over 12 years recruitment experience Matt specialises in recruiting IT leadership, and technology delivery specialists across the full IT lifecycle including; business engagement, strategy & architecture, project & programme delivery, service & operations management.

Operating as a functional IT specialist Matt has delivered assignments across a broad array of sectors including Business Services, FMCG, Automotive, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Defence, Pharmaceutical and the Public Sector.

Before joining Odgers in 2005, Matt worked for a leading European Executive Search & HR consulting firm. He specialised in the placement of industry expertise into the functional consulting lines of European IT and Management Consulting firms.

Matt’s career began working for an international prestige retail business where he enjoyed a rapid progression into Retail Operations Management, gaining a broad and diverse business grounding. During this period he gained valuable exposure to the use and application of IT to enhance business performance.

Matt graduated with a degree in Law & Economics from the University of Leicester.
