Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PMETB), 370 + roles

PMETB’s function is to ensure that postgraduate training for doctors is of a consistently high national standard. We were tasked with recruiting 250 partners who were to help facilitate this quality assurance work. The campaign was of a very complex nature as the partners fell into different categories, we had to ensure a balanced ratio and representation of all the clinical specialties, trainees and lay people. As PMETB is responsible for post graduate medical education across the UK we had to ensure that there was representation from all the home nations and that all diversity strands were represented.

After detailed client and stakeholder consultation we designed a process which allowed us to attract, assess and carry out induction training for these partners. This involved a multi-channelled candidate attraction strategy which included; search, on and off-line media, digital marketing and behavioural targeting and use of professional and social networking sites. In conjunction with PMETB, we designed a competency based application and interview process and delivered assessment and induction training regionally. The campaign was a huge success, we achieved 105% completion rate.
